Payroll in San Antonio, on schedule and tied to your books.

A payroll mistake is rarely noticed by you first. It’s noticed by an employee, the Texas Workforce Commission or the IRS. Payroll here runs on time, files on time, and matches the books it feeds.

The payroll

Paid on time, filed on time, and matching the ledger.

I run payroll for small businesses in San Antonio: setup, each run, the quarterly filings and deposits, and the January forms. Because it’s tied to your books, the wages on the P&L match the wages on the 941.

If your staff works in Spanish, that’s handled properly too — not translated after the fact.

Already on a provider?Gusto, ADP or QuickBooks Payroll can stay. We keep it in step with your books instead of replacing it.

How it works

Set up once, then it just runs.

  1. Send a first email

Headcount, pay schedule, who runs it today. The first reply isn’t billed.

  2. Set it up right

Federal and Texas accounts, rates and pay schedules.

  3. Run and deposit

Each payroll on schedule, taxes deposited when due.

  4. File and close the year

Quarterly returns, then W-2s and 1099s in January.

One thread through the year

Payroll, books and the return, in one office.

Wages flow into the books, the books flow into the return. Keeping all three in one office is how the numbers agree the first time someone else reads them.

Texas has no state income tax, but employers still owe Texas unemployment tax through the Texas Workforce Commission.

Questions

What people ask first.

Texas has no income tax — is there any state payroll filing?

Yes. There’s no state income tax withholding, but employers register with the Texas Workforce Commission and file quarterly unemployment tax reports.

Do you handle 1099 contractors?

Yes. We track contractor payments through the year and file the 1099-NEC forms in January.

We already use Gusto. Do we have to switch?

No. We can keep your provider and make sure what it runs matches your books and your filings.

Can you set up payroll for an S-corp owner?

Yes. It’s where reasonable compensation becomes real: the salary runs through payroll with the right withholding, on schedule.
